Government Degree College for Women, Madanapalle

The Department of Telugu in Government Degree College for Women, Madanapalle was established in 1987. Initially it used to offer only one course i.e. HPT, with History and Economics as other combinations.. Again in 2016 a new course H.P.T. was started along with Special Telugu and History as other combinations.

Students in the department are encouraged to pursue higher studies to enhance their knowledge and complete in various national and state-leve competitive examinations (APPSC, DSC, TPT etc.) Lecturers also engaged in research and academic activities.

To provide the Telugu literature, Linguistics and Human values knowledge.
