Grievances and Redressal Cell - Profile

As suggested by University Grants Commission, New Delhi, the College has established a Grievance Redressal Cell, to provide a mechanism for the redressal of students' grievances and ensure transparency in admission, and prevention of unfair practices, etc. The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the person in charge of the Grievance Redressal Cell. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at the Administrative Block. The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) aims to look into the complaints lodged by any student and redresses it as per requirement. The institution aims at solving the grievances of the students within stipulated time.

Objectives:

The Grievance Redressal Cell has been developed to settle the grievances of the students and other stakeholders within a reasonable time period for further strengthening the bond of the students with the institution by providing them with all kind of facilities to a satisfaction level for maintaining a congenial ambience for academic teaching and learning. It deals with the complex situations tactfully so that the seriousness of the condition is lessened. GRC also aims at encouraging the students to express their problems/grievances freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
